Solar

Grid-tied solar designed around your actual power bill, permitted, installed and monitored, mounted by the same company that holds your roof warranty.

Licensed underCVC 57206

Every solar array is a set of holes in a roof. That is the part of the industry nobody advertises, and it is why a solar company that is not also a roofing contractor is a risk. We hold both licenses, so the penetrations, the flashing and the roof around them stay inside one workmanship warranty instead of two companies pointing at each other.

How we size a system

Not by roof area, and not by a number a salesperson picked. We start from twelve months of your utility bills, look at when you actually draw power, and then check what the roof can carry and where the shading falls across the day. If the honest answer is that your roof cannot host a system worth the money, we will say so.

How we size a system

What the work includes

  • Design and engineering

Layout, structural review of the roof framing, string design and the stamped drawings your city requires for permitting.

  • Permitting and interconnection

Building and electrical permits with your municipality, plus the interconnection application with the utility so the system can legally export.

  • Installation and flashing

Mounting hardware set into rafters, every penetration flashed and sealed by our roofing crew, conductors run in conduit rather than draped across the roof.

  • Battery backup

Battery storage sized for the circuits you actually need during an outage, meaning refrigeration, a well pump, a bedroom air conditioner, rather than the whole house at full load.

  • Monitoring and service

Production monitoring so you can see output per panel, and a service relationship afterwards with a company that has a physical address in Deerfield Beach.

Roof first, panels second

If your roof has fewer than about ten years left, install the roof before the array. Removing and resetting a system later to replace the roof underneath costs real money and puts a second set of holes in a new roof. This is the single most expensive sequencing mistake in residential solar, and it is the reason we quote both together.

Incentives

Federal and state incentives for residential solar change with legislation, and eligibility depends on your tax situation. Florida also exempts solar equipment from state sales tax and excludes the added value from residential property tax assessment. We will tell you what is current when we quote, and we will tell you to confirm it with your tax advisor, because we are contractors and not accountants.

FAQ

Solar

Should I replace my roof before installing solar?
If the roof has fewer than roughly ten years of service left, yes. Removing and resetting an array later to replace the roof underneath costs real money and puts a second set of penetrations in a brand-new roof. We hold both licenses, so we can quote the sequence honestly instead of selling you the array and leaving the roof to someone else.
How do you size the system?
From twelve months of your utility bills, your usage pattern through the day, the roof's structural capacity and how shade moves across it. Roof area is a constraint, not a target, because we are sizing to your consumption, not to the space available.
Will solar leak my roof?
A penetration that is flashed properly does not leak; one that is caulked and hoped for does. Our roofing crew flashes every penetration, which is the practical reason to use a contractor who holds a roofing license rather than a solar-only installer.
Do I still need the utility after installing solar?
Yes, for a grid-tied system. You remain connected and draw power at night and on heavy-cloud days, with an interconnection agreement covering what you export. Battery storage reduces that dependence during outages but does not remove the connection.
What incentives are available?
Florida exempts solar equipment from state sales tax and excludes the added value from residential property tax assessment. Federal incentives change with legislation and depend on your tax situation. We will tell you what is current when we quote and we will tell you to confirm it with your tax advisor, because we are contractors rather than accountants.

What people say after the crew leaves

  • I recently had my roof replaced by Qualitech Home Services, and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and highly skilled. The installation was flawless, and the quality of workmanship truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out even more was their financing program, hands down one of the best I've come across. It was flexible, transparent, and tailored to fit my needs without any hidden surprises.

  • Qualitech was the best company I reached out to. They are quick, efficient, and reliable. Their prices are great, and they're very honest about their work. Another great thing is the free quote they offer. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our new roof and will definitely use them again in the future.
