Every solar array is a set of holes in a roof. That is the part of the industry nobody advertises, and it is why a solar company that is not also a roofing contractor is a risk. We hold both licenses, so the penetrations, the flashing and the roof around them stay inside one workmanship warranty instead of two companies pointing at each other.
How we size a system
Not by roof area, and not by a number a salesperson picked. We start from twelve months of your utility bills, look at when you actually draw power, and then check what the roof can carry and where the shading falls across the day. If the honest answer is that your roof cannot host a system worth the money, we will say so.

Permitting and interconnection
Building and electrical permits with your municipality, plus the interconnection application with the utility so the system can legally export.
Installation and flashing
Mounting hardware set into rafters, every penetration flashed and sealed by our roofing crew, conductors run in conduit rather than draped across the roof.
Battery backup
Battery storage sized for the circuits you actually need during an outage, meaning refrigeration, a well pump, a bedroom air conditioner, rather than the whole house at full load.
Monitoring and service
Production monitoring so you can see output per panel, and a service relationship afterwards with a company that has a physical address in Deerfield Beach.

If your roof has fewer than about ten years left, install the roof before the array. Removing and resetting a system later to replace the roof underneath costs real money and puts a second set of holes in a new roof. This is the single most expensive sequencing mistake in residential solar, and it is the reason we quote both together.

Solar only on this one. The tile roof had life left in it, so it stayed. Mounting into a tile roof means lifting and resetting tile at every attachment and flashing each penetration properly, rather than screwing through the covering.
